Obituary of Ida Anne Harris

Ida Anne Harris, of Lakeside, passed away peacefully in Stratford at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Hugh Robert "Bob" Harris. Loved mother of Robert (Christine), Philip, and Douglas (Brenda). Proud grandmother of Crystal DeVries (Chris), Whitney Henderson (Tom), Kyle Harris (Melanie), Marina Harris and Victoria Harris and great-grandmother of Aurora, Kendall, Ava, Bronson, Anna, Myles, Corbyn and Grace.

Predeceased by her parents Roy and Ruth Packham and son Charles (Beverley).

Ida Anne attended the St. Joseph's School of Nursing and graduated as a registered nurse in 1955. She was an active member of the Lakeside W.I. and Christ Church Lakeside. Other hobbies included gardening and cheering on the Blue Jays and Leafs. Ida Anne will be fondly remembered for her love of family and devotion to their success and well-being. A fabulous cook and baker, Ida Anne's memory will live on through her recipes.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Christ Church, 256554 Sunova Crescent Lakeside, on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 am. Rev. Richard Hryniw officiating followed by a reception. Interment in the Parish Cemetery in the spring.
