Uncle Gerry was one of the kindest, most cheerful men I've known. His greatest pleasures were; sports, his home, the animals, but primarily it was making Sylvia happy. Their's was a genuine partnership, full of love and respect. I hope they're together again, loving, laughing, and sharing stories. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. xo Heather J Smith

Gerry was a great friend and will be missed by all who knew him. Sylvia, his pets and his gardens were dear to him as were his many other interests. We had wonderful times at Wolverine, daily work, at company events and on company travels. I am honoured to be recognized as his close friend. My sympathy goes out to the family.

Gerry will always be a cherished memory that will live in our hearts for many of us "Wolveriners". He had the "gift to gab" and brought many stories and laughter to our office. As one of the younger ladies who came to Wolverine to begin a long and lasting accounting career, Gerry provided much guidance, advice and friendship. We were all truly blessed to have Gerry as a coworker and friend and he will be deeply missed! Laurie Morrison

Deepest condolences to everyone who knew and loved Gerry. He was indeed the one who included everyone and lightened the mood. His laugh was gentle and twinkled with genuine kindness; no mean bones in him at all. He made my Aunt Sylvia very happy and that made me happy too. I miss him already but I am grateful for all the happy memories. His life is definitely worth celebrating.
