I would like to extend my deepest condolences and prayers to Doris' family upon her death. I was blessed to know Doris in this earthly life, and her steadfast Christian witness and love was influential on me as a young person growing up in St. Marys Presbyterian Church. From singing together in choir, to her gentle ways of inquiring how you were doing, to the little slips of paper with inspirational wisdom on them that she would give to you at the end of a visit, Doris displayed her faith in word and deed, which I have always admired. May she rest in peace, rise in glory, and eternal light shine upon her.

To Doris's family
I am so sorry I could not be there in person to pay my respect to you. Doris and Don were wonderful parents, and wonderful neighbours. It has been many years since I have seen any of you and I would have liked to come and re-connect with all of you. I have seen Doris a few times lately when I was up to visit my own mother. She was a lovely woman and I send my sincere condolences to all of you. Brenda (Knowles) Alderson

Dear Lynda, Charlotte and family, Philip and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your dear mom, grandmother, and great grandmother's death. She lived a good life and had her wits about until the end. Lean on your wonderful memories and may they bring your some comfort as you travel down this road called "Grief". It's a long journey but your memories will help. But always remember that if you didn't love you wouldn't grieve. Sending my sincerest condolences.

Our family will miss Aunt Doris greatly. Our hearts go out to your family.
I have many fond memories of Aunt Doris and your family as we were growing up. I remember celebrating a summer birthday where Aunt Doris baked a cake with money inside. The money was so we would have some to spend at the beach. My sister Debbie swallowed her dime and your Mom told her it would come out in the end and she gave her another dime.
She is loved greatly and will be missed daily.
Love to you all.
