Obituary of Ava Grace Niessen
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of our little baby girl.
Ava Grace Niessen Born on February 6, 2023, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 3rd, 2023, at 25 days old.
She was the beloved daughter of Courtney (Smith) Niessen and Mark Niessen of Mitchell ON.
In her short life Ava brought so much love and joy to the lives of those whom she touched. In her short time with us, Ava only knew love and was surrounded by family and friends.
Ava spent lots of her time in the arms of her parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Ava experienced many kisses and hugs. She loved to hold your finger at any chance she could get. If she thought you weren’t giving her bottle to her fast enough, she would even try to grab that. Ava loved bedtime stories!
Our brave little girl was a champion in all that she did. She was bright, and sweet, and touched the lives of all of those around her.
We were blessed with an angel on February 6th. Although our time was cut far too short, our hearts will forever be filled with love, honor, and joy because we were graced with her beautiful presence.
Ava is survived by her parents Courtney and Mark Niessen, grandparents Brenda Smith (Greg Van Tassel) Digby, NS, Susan Swanson (Gary) AB, Eric Niessen (Kerry) New Hamburg ON, Great grandparents, Diane Haynes Digby, NS, Margaret Niessen, Ancaster ON, Uncle Shane (Aunt Cheryl) Smith Kirkton ON, Uncle Andrew (Aunt Deanna) Smith St Marys ON and cousins Sophie, Aiden, Addilyn Smith and Zoe & Hunter Smith.
