Obituary of Terry Wayne McIntosh

It is with overwhelming sadness we announce the passing of Terry Wayne McIntosh at the Stratford General Hospital in his 69th year after a brief time of illness. A loving and dedicated father to Travis McIntosh and Brittany McIntosh (Bill Kaczor). Sadly, he was predeceased by son Wesley McIntosh.

Much loved son of Laurine McIntosh (nee Cooke) and the late Oliver McIntosh both lifetime residents of Fullarton Township. Terry will be greatly missed by his sisters Cathy Graham (Joe), Karen (Shelley M.) and Mary Ellen McIntosh as well as brothers Doug (Donna) and David McIntosh. His aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family in the United States as well as by the many people whose lives he touched will also miss him.

He had many professions in his life. Being a graduate of Centralia Agricultural College in Exeter, Terry started his path on the farm and eventually found his passion in the financial world as an advisor. He was a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and fully enjoyed what he did and those he met in his day. His adventurous spirit led him to travel many places around the world, golf a FEW courses and even take up curling of late. Terry loved the beach and sound of the ocean as his many travels often brought him to these places.

Visitation will be held at St. Marys United Church, 85 Church Street South, St. Marys on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 pm with Pastor Frank Struth officiating. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment in Avonbank Cemetery at a later date.
