Obituary of Michael Chester Langford

Michael Chester Langford, of Bayfield, Ont., passed away suddenly on March 26, 2023 at the age of 62.

Best friend and loving husband of Mona Leigh Langford (Beecroft). Beloved father of James and his wife Krista (Holtby), Jason and his spouse Robin (Fleet), and Jessica. Proud grandad to the apple of his eye, Sloane. Best buddy to his dog Mokie. Survived by his mother Patricia Langford of Bayfield. Brother of Sally Berendsen and her husband George, Sue Todd and her husband Brian, Greg and his wife Karen, John and his wife Jean, Jenny Davila and her husband Al. Also survived by sisters-in-law Shirley Ann Beecroft, Cathie Beecroft, Edina Allen, Bev Ellis and her family, Bernie Beecroft and her family. Predeceased by his father George Langford, brother Mark Langford, parents-in-law Ed and Pat Beecroft and brother-in-law Bob Allen. Also dearly missed by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Mike was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed and remembered always.

Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St S. St. Marys (519-284-2820), on Friday, March 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY NAME OF MARY PARISH, Northeast corner of Peel St. N. and Widder St. E, St. Marys, on Saturday, April 1, at 10 am, with visiting at the church one hour prior. Cremation to follow.
