To Cheryl's family: I am so sorry for you loss. Cheryl was a great neighbour and I enjoyed seeing her walking Quincy throughout the day. She was kind, thoughtful, always smiling, and had a great sense of humour. After she moved from the neighbourhood, we stayed in touch and would enjoy texts back and forth about various sporting events and how her pets were doing. May the memories you have of Cheryl help in the healing process.

I will always remember Cheryl for her laughter and genuine caring heart. We met over a BR&E project and became fast friends. She was always so enthusiastic and honest, a real advocate for rural Ontario. We always sat together at events and had lunch when we could. She will be so missed. Condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.

My condolences on the passing of Cheryl. She and I worked together at OMAFRA. Cheryl was full of life, was so good at her work and made a real difference in the communities she worked in. She had solid advice, and experience to guide communities to the success they were looking for. Cheryl was always kind to me, whether giving me advice or recommending a good book. I am so sad that she is no longer with us and that we didn't get to have that lunch we talked about. My heart breaks that she is no longer with us.

It is so sad to learn of the passing of Cheryl. We had worked together for many years while she was at OMAFRA. She was dedicated to her work, a compassionate and happy person always willing to take on those tough projects and provide support to her colleagues and many friends at work. With me, we always started our conversations sharing memories of family and friends’ experiences. I know she was so happy to be moving to St Mary’s following her retirement and to be closure to her family. She was such a true pleasure to work with.
My sincere condolences.

Dearest Grace & the Brine Family ~
Our hearts break with your hearts... The loss of our cherished friend, Cheryl, has devastated us. We met Cheryl at St. Paul's United Church when she first moved to Dundas many years ago. We shared a love of animals, country music and crafts. She taught me to cross-stitch. Her handiwork was beautiful! We treasure the memories of our visits, chats, laughter and fun... Cheryl touched the lives of so many and we are all richer for knowing and loving her...
Rest in peace, dear Cheryl, with your beloved Dad and your beloved buddy, Quincy...
Forever in our hearts,

She was always smiling and sharing a funny joke or story and was always a great friend, I’m glad I was able to meet her for lunch when she was in OS recently. I am so sorry for your loss and all of us who knew her, she will be missed by many.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Cheryl's passing. As a former OMAFRA colleague I am reminded of many good memories with Cheryl over the years - especially the lunches we shared together in many different Grey Bruce restaurants where we would catch up on work activities and life in general. Being with Cheryl was always a boost to your spirits and you knew it would involve smiles with that unmistakable laugh of hers. She was a ray of sunshine and will be missed!
