Obituary of Joyce Elaine King

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dear devoted mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. A mother that raised a large family with unconditional love. Her family was her sunshine.After being the New Year’s Baby of January 3, 1937, mom passed away peacefully on July 05, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Glen King (1998) Mother of Quinton (Jane) of Thamesford, Frank (Julie) of St.Marys, Kevin (Cathy) of Stratford, Karen Smith (Dan)of Belgrave, Timothy predeceased (2014) ( Denise) of Lakeside, Shawn (Thomas) of Ottawa, Roddy (Donna) of St.Marys.Predeceased by her parents Garfield and Lily Landers of Stratford, Daughter-in-law of Quinton and Kathleen King of Medina, sister Norma Rumble, sisters-in-law, Margret Landers, Shirley King, Marilyn Fleming, Kathy James, brothers-in-law, Richard King, Jerry Switzer, Tom James, Ralph Pearson, Bill Fleming.Survived by her brother Gary Landers of Seaforth, brother-in-law John Rumble, Chris King, Clive Drown, Gordon Smith, & Glen Lang. Sisters-in-law Joanne King, Marie King, Noreen Switzer, Doris Person, Darlene Smith, Sharon Drown, and Laurel Lang.She will be sadly missed by all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They will cherish all the special moments they had with her.Joyce’s children will gather for a blessing prayer at the Christ Anglican Church in Lakeside where she will be at peace.Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Canada.
