Obituary of Everett Lorne Gowan

Everett Lorne Gowan, of Kirkton, passed away on Dec. 8, 2023 at the age of 93.

Predeceased by his wife Evelyn Marie (nee Elliott). Father of Rick, Gary (Ria), Marie Stewardson, Stan (Donna) and predeceased by Stewart, Bruce and Terry. Everett is survived by 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great greatgrandchildren. Brother of Joe (Dorothy) Gowan of Oakville and Irene Gowan of St. Thomas. Predeceased by Pearl Tuttle (Jim), Laura Farrel (Bud), Lillian Nevard (Ron), and Victor. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys, on Wednesday, Dec 13, from 2 -4 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S. St. Marys, on Thursday, Dec 14, at 11 am. Reception in the church hall following. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, London.
