There will be no funeral home visitation. A private family graveside service will take place in Avonbank Cemetery later in the spring of 2024.

Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Brown

Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Brown, of R.R. 7 St Marys, on December 12, 2023 at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth in her 87th year. The daughter of the late Douglas and Hilda Anderson. Predeceased by husband of 57 years, Jack Brown (2019). 

Lovingly remembered by daughter Lisa Loucks (Joe) and son Murray Brown (Janette). She was a devoted and very proud Nana to grandchildren Alyssa Loucks (Kevin Mandigo), Ashley Monteith (Matt Monteith), Leah Brown (Pierson Smith) and Cameron Brown. Beth is also survived by five cherished great-grandchildren Clark Monteith, Maeve Monteith and Burk Monteith, and Sophia and Penelope Mandigo. As the oldest of a family of six, Beth is sadly missed by siblings Bill Anderson (Jan), Dorine Ellis (Jim, deceased), Eunice Boyd (John, deceased), Jane Crawford, and Mary Anderson (Bob Zaharia, deceased). Beth is survived by many special nieces and nephews.

Beth was a schoolteacher, teaching at Motherwell, North York and the Avon Maitland District School Board. She also spent many enjoyable years as the Activity Director at Hillside. Beth experienced many travels to Northern Ontario, New York, Cancun, Sanibel Island, Florida, Europe, Alaska and Ireland.

There will be no funeral home visitation. A private family graveside service will take place in Avonbank Cemetery later in the spring of 2024.
