Obituary of Ernest William Hemphill

Ernest “Ernie” William Hemphill passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024 in St. Marys at the age of 92.

Survived by his nephew Ken Bonk (Leah) and their son Kalvin from Niagara Falls. Son of the late William and Annie. Also remembered by his extended family of long time companion, the late Shirley “Beanie” Craigmile (2010); Jim Craigmile (Pat), Jeff Craigmile (Darci) and Kelly Craigmile.

Ernie worked his entire career in the laboratory at the St. Marys Cement Plant.

Special thanks to the staff at Kingsway Lodge and St. Marys Memorial Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place in St. Marys Cemetery.
