My deepest condolences to Laura's family. I met Laura when my mother and two siblings moved in with her when she lived on James Street N. in 1971. She offered a roof over our heads while my family sorted things out. Always kind and generous.

Dear Dick. Your mother must have inspired you with a zest for life, a love of friends, an ability for music and sports, and, most of all, a penchant for fun. Thinking of you as you celebrate the very long life of your dear mom. Susan Dunsford McKay

Deepest sympathy to Dick and family. I never had the opportunity to meet you, but Laura was a great kind lady. Never said a negative remark about anyone when I delivered Meals on Wheels to her and her cat family. In her 102nd year- a life lived well.

Dick, looking back over the many years I have known you, I realize what an amazing person your mother was! She took the time to give me good advice on a couple occasions that I remember gratefully. And always, she was so very proud of you and of your accomplishments! Thinking of you at this time.

Laura was a person who never really grew old. She was always up to date with things happening in her community and around the world. I particularly enjoyed the moments we had together when I delivered meals to her home. Dick, may the many good memories sustain you through this difficult time.
