Obituary of Donald William Mokren
Don was a devoted, husband, father, beloved friend, and a beacon of joy, who passed away peacefully on December 3rd 2024 in his 75th year. Born on March 4, 1950 in Guelph Ontario, Don lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a spirit that inspired all who knew him.
A man of boundless energy and humor, Don had an uncanny ability to light up any room with his humour and warmth. His laugh was contagious, his smile unyielding, and his heart immeasurable. He found joy in the simple things—a dinner with family, a good story, the joy of seeing his grandkids and a good game of crib and the occasional fig newton. To him, life was meant to be celebrated, and he did so with every chance he could.
Don was a devoted husband and father who cherished his family beyond measure. He was a cheerleader, mentor, and constant source of unconditional love. His unwavering support and wisdom will forever guide them.
Don leaves behind his wife Brenda of 51 years. His children Andrea (Geoff), Samantha, Mindi (Mac) and Danielle. His grandchildren, Fynn, Ethan (Sam), Emma, William, Kacey, Kaden, Justine and Carter. Brother Dave (Donna) and their families, sister in law Sharlene (Nehat), nieces Michelle (Brad) and Melissa (Taras). Will also be remembered by many extended family and friends.
To honor his memory, we ask that you carry forward his legacy of joy, kindness, and laughter.
