How sad it was to hear of your father's passing Darrell. Mr. Gorvett was a kind, generous man. Growing up on Wellington St. your father was "the go to guy" for bike repairs, automotive queries and even fatherly advice. He will be missed by so many. My sincerest condolences to the Gorvett family. Gerry Muma

Ken was our neighbour growing up on Wellington Street. He was a kind gentleman and a true conversationalist, engaging, and not just a talker but always interested in what you had to say. I will miss that, sorry for your loss Darrell.

Ken was our very good neighbour on Wellington Street for forty years. After we moved, whenever we met, he would ask about what our girls were doing. Always quick with a smile, a good word and often a good story. A good neighbour...a fine man. Our condolences, Darryl.

Thinking of Darrell Michelle Blair and family. We always enjoyed our visits with Uncle Ken over the years. He was always able to fill in a few blanks regarding the family history. I will always remember the visits and history that was passed along to me. And most of all Uncle Ken sure proved that no matter what the difficulties life presents to you you keep on going and do not give up. Sending our sincerest sympathy to each of you as you deal with the loss of Uncle Ken.

Mr. Gorvett was our neighbour growing up. We loved getting to chat and spend time with him and all the things he taught us over the years. We always enjoyed running into him after our family moved away. My condolences to his loved ones. He will be missed.

Condolences Darrell on your Dad's passing. He was one of the last few remaining residents of Wellington St I remember from my childhood. Fascinated me how he kept his cars or trucks so sparkling clean.

My condolences to Darrell & family. I worked with Ken 'Bones' at the Cement Plant and always frequented with him at the Sunset Diner after he retired. Always see him on the porch in the nice weather and stop and have a chat with him. He will be missed for sure.

I so enjoyed knowing Ken as one of my parents' neighbors. I enjoyed my conversations with him and admired his independent spirit and sense of humour. I'm thinking of his family as they remember him and I am glad to have gotten the chance to know him.
