So sorry to read of Vic's passing. Fortunately or unfortunately it's a bridge we all have to cross to get to the next level of consciousness. At the least he had a great long run and he is now happily reunited with Marie, the love of his life. I'm sure his legacy will live on in the wonderful family that their love for each other created. He was always so kind and thoughtful, was great at remembering names and always had a kind word. I only knew him from the golf course but I always marvelled at his pleasant and sincere greetings. A quality man to be sure. My sincerest condolences to the family.

To the Hearn family, My deepest condolences on the passing of Vic. When I was a small boy playing minor hockey I'd see Vic around the rink and he'd would always call out my name and say hello when he saw me. He didn't coach me but I just knew him as a coach and an involved dad in hockey. I now know as an adult it was way of letting me know he was watching out for kids and that he could be a familiar person to go to if our parents weren't there. I got to know Vic better through masonry. Any time you had a conversation with Vic you walked away feeling better about things as he always found a way to make you smile. He was someone who cared about making his community a better place, making the world a better place. And he did! He will be missed.

Many good memories growing up two doors down from the Hearn’s. It was like a second home. Vic always had a big laugh and a happy greeting - unless we woke him up from a nap! He was a hard worker. I remember riding in the big oil truck when the big snow storm hit and we were stranded at school. He got us home. Great memories for my parents too, who enjoyed a few roaring neighbourhood visits and card games with Vic and Marie. He missed her so terribly when she passed and I’m happy they are together again. Condolences to the family who will miss them both always.
