To KB & Associates, The leader of the band has died. Not to worry. His songs live in our souls. KB. (Burton- you're kidding) was one of a kind. The combination of wit, charm and rebelliousness set him apart in a world that needed character and class. KB, like the Cadillac is a symbol for quality. Those who entered KB's shop were always welcomed and dare I say, entertained. Leave your ego at the door because it was a level playing field and if you listened carefully you could learn a lot or not. Family was always first and he would extol their virtues and show his pride. The classic automobile was truly his nemesis. He worked tirelessly to recycle qualities of the engineering past. It was here that he became my mentor or something like that. The culmination of a project carried us to the top of the mountain where we looked down on those who didn't understand us. In perspective, KB could bring you down with the remark, " You know, some people out there think we're a little odd!" A dream never dies. To be continued......Dug & Lois
