Obituary of Kenneth Burton Lindsay

Kenneth Burton “KB” Lindsay passed away at Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys, on May 12, 2018 at the age of 88.Beloved husband of the late Jean Elizabeth Lindsay (Gallagher, 2013). Dear father of Dale and Steve Wakem of Thorndale, Deb Harrison of Napanee, and Dave and Kristi Lindsay of Wellburn. Grandfather of Jason (Heidi), Kurtis (Carrie), Bradley (Leah), Nicole (Randy), Sam, David, Lucas (Courtney), and Kenneth. Great-grandfather of Avery, Lilly, Jack, Myelle, Michaela, Cohen, Jocelyn, Cierra, Carlie, Cole and one soon to arrive. Brother of Gerald (Ena) and remembered by many nieces and nephews.Predeceased by sister-in-law Betty Lindsay, son-in-law Gary Harrison, and grandson Travis Iredale.His family would like to give a heartfelt thankyou to the staff at Kingsway Lodge for their amazing care and thank you to Dr. Bob Davis and Dr. Jon Schiedel.Kenneth’s body was bequeathed to science, University of Western Ontario. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Thorndale Lions Community Centre, 265 Upper Queen Street Thorndale, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2:30 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
