Rachel Mizener posted a condolence
I'll always remember the get togethers and sleepovers Aunt Margaret had for us growing up. She always made sure to buy my favorite malt bread ( which she introduced to me ) toasted with butter. Everytime she saw me, she would cheerfully say, "we miss you dear Rachel, we pray for you everyday with all your kids you know. " The joy that radiated from her confirmed her love for the Lord and you could feel his presence through her peace and love for life. She will be missed greatly.

Marnie Renwick posted a condolence
Dear Hubert and family, "Auntie " Margaret was a part of our lives from my earliest memories. . She was a great friend to my mother who was busy with 6 young children. She visited us regularly and we loved her stays we would sit outside her bedroom door waiting for her to wake up. . She spent a couple weeks camping with us when my twin brother and sister were just babies. She was such a natural with children. Her love and liveliness were such wonderful characteristics. She had a passion for the souls of others. She spent time listening and getting to know each of us as individuals. Her laughter was contagious. Her love of singing and worship was wonderful. She was just so smart. Her ability to connect with those of all generations was outstanding. She made a difference in our lives. Her imprint on our hearts will live on. May God comfort you in the loss of such a lovely and unique lady. With deepest sympathy Marnie Metcalf Renwick

Don Ross posted a condolence
It was shocking to hear of Margaret's sudden and tragic passing. The only blessing is knowing that she is in heaven. Our hearts go out to Hubert and the family during this very sorrowful time. Don has been sharing memories of times growing up with Margaret seemingly just always there. She taught him Sunday school at Pape Avenue. As years have gone by she was always a joy to see, a big smile and heartful hug. She will be missed. Don and Danielle Ross

Rita Smith posted a condolence
Rita Smith (formerly Pape Avenue) Like everyone else, I was shocked when I learned that Margaret had passed away so suddenly. My thoughts of Margaret go back to Pape Avenue and all the gang there. How many lovely times we shared and how happy we were when she married Hubert. We were lucky enough to attend their wedding. Over the years many of us lose touch through one thing or another but the memories we hold dear never leave us, that's why building memories is so important. After my children were raised and I decided to go back to work, Margaret advised me to try the City of Toronto and gave me helpful information. I remained there until retirement so thanks to Margaret I have a small pension and good benefits. You will be sorely missed Margaret. Sincere sympathy to Hubert and all of the family.

Janice Wilson posted a condolence
We were so shocked to hear of Margaret's passing. My earliest childhood memories include Margaret who was like an Aunt to all of us Glendinning cousins. We were together for many roast beef Sunday dinners and Christmas gatherings - she was the Irish girl who we looked up to. I will never forget her positive and sunny disposition, her smile and her encouraging words. We pray that the Shirley and Alexander families will be comforted and that you will know God's peace and presence at this time of loss. Lovingly from Janice (Brewster) and Daryl Wilson
