Irma, Pat, Tracey, Chris and families We are all so sad to hear of Bev's passing. We remember your kindness when our dad passed 45 years ago, as your neighbours in Wallaceburg. Having babysat the children and how they are all grown now. Our Mom who passed in 2014, and miss her so much, spoke about all of you often. We all send our condolences for your profound pain at this time and will certainly keep you all in our prayers. Irma we hope for a speedy recovery and hope to see each other again someday. Jim Coveny Carol and I were very sorry to hear of Bev's tragic accident. Even though we were first cousins we lived apart after our marriages. Our kids did remember a get together at the campsite that Bev and Irma invited us to many years ago. They still remembered that Bev had a prosthesis for his right hand probably because Bev used to demonstrate to them how functional it was? We will pray for Irma's complete recovery. Our sincerest condolences to Bev's family and to Jerry, Mary Jane and Barb's families in the lost of their loved one. Bev will be missed by all who knew him.

It was good to see all the pictures celebrating the moments of Bev's life. He really seems to be enjoying himself with all the grandkids, and especially the grandkids while fishing.

Bev touched so many in his lifetime . His happy nature brightened your day each time you met. I had the priveledge of working with him for 12 yrs and a priveledge it was. Not only did we work hard but had fun doing so , he made sure of that. He offered me training and mentoring that few women in agriculture got back in the day and I have him to thank for my long career in a field I loved. He and Irma became lifelong friends even though we seldom seen each other anymore. Boy but when we did !! Never skipped a beat. . . Bev was without a doubt one of the best men I know and he loved his family and his life dearly. That was apparent . If love could keep them here he would have stayed with us forever but such is not the case. Irma, Pat,Tracey,Chris and all the Coveny family cherish all those wonderful times and memories. I know I will . My heart hurts for all of you but I know Bev will continue to wrap his arms around you all from above. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences . Hugs Shelley & Louie Martin

We are very sorry to hear of Bev's sudden passing. I will pray that Irma makes a full and speedy recovery. Although we now live in Langley, British Columbia we often think (especially as we get older) of the good times we had on Bear Creek. The only family that might remember me is Jerry, Mary Jane and Barbara Ann as I have not lived in the Ontario area since I was 18. (61 years ago)

Dearest Mrs. Coveny, Pat, Tracey, Chris and families: My heart aches for you all as you grieve the sudden loss of Bev. My thoughts and prayers are with Irma in recovering from her injuries. The family strength that Bev and Irma generated and fostered during their decades together is the family bond that will help you support your mom and each other as you move forward with broken hearts. Nothing lessens the pain of losing a loved one but knowing how they have touched the lives of others can be a small comfort. Please know that your Sparling Crescent home and your trailer at Prospect Hill provided many happy childhood memories. Bev and Irma always welcomed me into their home when I hopped around the hedge from our house to spend time with Tracey, the first friend I met at age 9 after moving to St. Marys. Yours was a loving home, busy with so much going on but always fun. When I think of Bev, I think of his hearty laugh, him singing along to a country song with gusto, a nod or a wink from him as I passed by him returning from communion in church and how he loved to snuggle with Irma on the couch in your family room to watch a movie. Thinking of your entire family at this difficult time.
