Janice (Fischer)) Swanton I just received the news of Bill's passing and wanted to take the opportunity to express my deepest sympathy. I know what it is like to lose a husband and father but also know how your memories will sustain you in the days ahead. As the neighbour kid down the road, I have many memories of Bill myself. I believe he was my very first crush. I remember being somewhat disappointed when you appeared on the scene Eileen. I was hoping that he would wait for me to grow up! I think I was about 10 at the time! Great memories!

I appreciated Bill['s sense of humour and musical talent during the Stonetown Entertainers rehearsals and concerts and enjoyed working with him in the choir. He loved a good game of ball and we were happy to represent Blanshard with our bright orange shirts and jackets. He was always very kind to me over the years.
