Deeply saddened to learn about George's passing. We were together in the Forestry program at U of T. and have kept in touch over the years. When we visited the farm in St. Mary's, George gave us the grand tour and talked about his plans here and in Cuba. We left with full bellies and some cheese to take home and savour. We looked forward to and loved his instagrams on the harvests, the building of his European tiny home, and his efforts creating deep dish chicken pot pies/ bread ...always one to keep active!! Dodge and I often think of our trip together with George when we traveled to North Bay/Sundridge to attend the renewal of vows of our classmates Lori and Bill. Wonderful conversations, stories and lots of laughter! George, you will definitely be missed and remain in our hearts!!!!
Our sincere condolences to the Taylor family.
Love,
Mary and Diogenes (Dodge) Baena

We are sad to learn about the loss of George. He was a significant part of our younger years at TSN. Both Dave and I enjoyed George's humour and good nature. Everyone loved how he entered a room....typically singing..."I love a parade".....It makes me smile just thinking about those times. We were lucky to have his friendship and share in several activities like Blue Jays games and concerts. Dave sat beside him for over a decade in Master Control laughing and working...in that order. As life got in the way, and we all went our separate ways...Dave and I often spoke of George and the times shared at TSN. I wish we could have had the chance to see the farm and re-connect as that was the plan with Dave's recent retirement. Sadly, we have lost that chance. Our hearts go out to the Taylor family. May the love and kindness of friends and family see you through this difficult time.
George....keep singing and smilin' and brightening people's day...from above!
Love and condolences to all.

We share many stories with George, and all of them bring smiles to our faces when we tell them. He spoke highly of his sisters, neices and nephews and adored his parents. My children Candice and Kevin were always thrilled when George, (they called him Uncle George) came by for a visit. We have many fond memories of George, his farm, goat cheese, St Mary's and Cuba.
Our condolences to the Taylor family.
R.I.P George xoxo

Dear Mrs Taylor , Cindy, Scott and Family
My deepest sympathies. George and his late father were one of the first to discuss the cheese and small ruminant milking business with me many many years ago. I always appreciated my chats with George as we shared a passion for the cheese industry. He will be greatly missed.
