Dear Cory and Mark and families I am just so sorry to read of your mom Carol's death. The Hogg and McLean families have a history dating back many decades - to your grandparents and my parents! Over the years, as is usual, the times together waned but by that time your dad's family had moved to town and so friendships continued - and then waned again as we ended high school. And then came the SMMH years! What fun we had travelling together year after year when the McArthur and Finnie boys played together regularly. It was a good time in all of our lives Cory and Mark and we remember both of your parents, Kim and Carol, and our times together very fondly. I am very sad for your loss and will hold you very close in my heart. Sincere condolences Betty Finnie, Brandon, Breken and Jordan

To Carol's family and friends: Carol and I both attended St. Marys West Ward School together, Grades 1, 2 and 3,at a time when most of the kids we knew lived in the eastern part of town and attended Central School. It could be a bit lonely, but Carol helped me through it. I will miss her smile, her compassion for others and many kindnesses along the way. May your loving memories of time spent with Carol comfort you all during this difficult time.

I grew up next door to the Hogg family and Carol and I spent much time together. As the years passed, our lives took different directions, but we reconnected in the last few years.
