My thoughts and prayers are with Liam’s partner Paul and Liam’s family as you mourn the loss of a truly beautiful soul. Liam and I had lost contact a few years ago; but he left a lasting impression as he helped me through one of the hardest times of my life. We were close for what was sadly only a short time- but I will forever be honoured to have had the chance to know him and his beautiful heart. Rest in sweetest peace you beautiful soul. Liam will always hold that special place in my heart. Watching him grow up was easy as his youth was often spent at his Grandparents farm. Times of the kids playing, swimming, road trips and campfires come to mind. When he moved away to follow his passions I was always impressed by his larger than life achievements, both academically and personally. A small town guy making his mark in life. He will truly be missed by his Line 6 people His home away from home. For the rest of time I will keep looking into the backyard of my new home for the blinking lights of his drone. He promised me that some day when I least expect it he would swoop on by. Sending my love and heartfelt hugs to my “sisters” , Hayden, Derek and Kenzie , Stacey and to his partner Paul and Watson. Missing you will be so easy for them. So heartbroken for his loss but it was an honour to have been a small part of his life. A life taken before he really had a chance to shine. Hugs and love

I am very sad to learn about Liam's death. I was Liam's Professor in the Political Science Department at Brock University. He was an outstanding student, and I remember him most vividly from a small senior seminar in political theory. Liam wrote a brilliant final essay for that course. I nominated the essay for the year's "Best Essay in Political Science Award', and Liam won the award. My condolences to Liam's loved ones.
