My condolences to Bernie and the Van Massenhoven family. Gus was such a dedicated member of the Holy Name of Mary Choir for 30 years. I enjoyed his singing and harmonica playing. He will be greatly miss. He was a great inspiration to his family and choir family. May Gus Rest In Peace, free from all pain and suffering. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

My honest condolences on the death of August Van Massenhoven. I wish his wife, Bernardine, children, grandchildren and the whole family a lot of strength by this loss. I am a niece of him from Belgium. Gust's mother, Marie Reynders, and my mother, Josephine (Fien) Reynders were sisters and during their life they wrote each other a lot of letters. I had the honor of singing with Gus in the Stonetown Entertainers, and commuted to London and back with him and Gerry Rozek.
